Happy Women's Day - 8 March

A bit of history: In 1913 and 1914 during the International Women's Day anti-war demonstrations were held. That day, the feast was celebrated for the first time in Russia. Rallies were held there last Sunday of February, which according to the Gregorian calendar took place on 8 March. That day, Women's Day was celebrated in other countries.March 19, 1911 for the first time International Women's Day was celebrated in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. They demanded the right of women to vote and embrace public office, women's rights to work and training and end discrimination in the workplace. March 25 of this year, many workers were killed in the Triangle Shirtwaist factory fire.
Many people associate Women's Day with communist times when women were given cloves. On this occasion the portraits of women were published in different sectors of the economy in accordance with the opinion of Wladyslaw Gomulka, that "there is today in Poland, a field in which women do not play a major role." In the workplace or schools this day was celebrated mandatory. It was an opportunity to supplement the shortage of supply, which is why the ladies handed material goods such as tights, towels, tea towels, soap, coffee.
AS WE STILL CELEBRATE THE WOMEN"S DAY IN POLAND- ALL THE BEST FOR ALL WOMEN, THE SMALL AND BIG ONES! :)
